While much of the market pauses for Christmas, we’re continuing work on a high impact hire for a well established MSP!!

Why this role is different
This isn’t a narrow, ticket only service desk role. You’ll be trusted with end-to-end ownership of issues across a modern Microsoft environment, with real exposure to Azure, security, and higher-level troubleshooting, not just password resets and laptop builds (though those are part of the mix).
You’ll also be joining a team where good engineers are noticed, developed, and promoted.

- Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Conditional Access, Defender, SharePoint
- Windows Server (2012–2022), AD, Exchange
- Ticket range from first line through to near third line
- Troubleshooting complex issues, not just escalating them
- CSP access and real Azure administration exposure
- Opportunity to get involved in projects and networking
Working pattern
- Service desk operates between 07:00–19:00 (rotational)
- First 3 months office-based for onboarding
- Hybrid working thereafter 2 WFH, 3 Office.
What we are looking for
- Around 8–12 years’ experience (not rigid, but the right level of confidence)
- Strong communicator, comfortable with clients and senior stakeholders
- Calm under pressure, able to make decisions
- MSP experience is helpful but not essential good engineers adapt quickly
- Someone who wants to make an impact, not hide behind a queue
Package & progression
- Salary £45,000 + On call + Benefits
- Clear progression
- Annual reviews
- Strong emphasis on development, certification, and exposure
